Very kind and generous words, Jynksie! That really means so much, my friend. That will be fodder for the cannon for when I’m working on new strips with these two. Thanks!
Each panel spoke volumes. I love their little “hats” too. I don’t know how you manage to convey so much without any words. You’re a true master of the craft, Mark. ๐
That is a real honor coming from you, George, thanks so much! I really put a lot of work into these, although they may look so simple. In wordless strips, what you leave out is just as important as what you keep in.
I like how his tongue is sticking out of the pumpkin in the first panel. I want to carve a pumpkin and give it a tongue like that with a sock or something.
Mike, that’s about my favorite part of the whole strip, second to the expression on the bird’s face in the last panel. I don’t know why, but it cracks me up.
You can’t go wrong throwing a couple of pumpkins in your comic strips. I think they’re the most cartoony of all the vegetables! Thanks, Marieke, and Happy Halloween!
They are like Headmasters Pumpkin Transformers!I want to take the little pumpkin home….
Pumpkin Transformers kind of fits, Carlo. Lol, makes me smile thinking you like that little pumpkin so much, thanks!
It doesn’t get much cuter than that!
Any cuter and it might leave a mark.
You really know how to make Halloween endearing. Bravo sir.
Roland, that is very special to hear. I try to make them fun for me first, so I guess I’m on the right track! Thanks!
This is really fun Mark!
Thank you, David! I try to have fun when I’m creating them, too.
This is soooo cute!! I love every panel! Now this is one way to bring the ‘Sweet’ out of Halloween! ๐ Awe.. That little bird cracks me up!
Thanks Michelle. My favorite part is the expression on the bird’s face. He’s so determined!
The amount of material these two are giving you are not only entertaining and priceless, but I always finding myself wanting more of them! [grin]

LOL! That bird cracked me up!
Don’t think Gorr expected the legs to pop out!

Ow! my teeth are falling out! That is just *darling*! I love the interaction between those two. <3 รขโขยฅ
Honestly, they’re surprising me, Jande. I just step back and let them do what they do, lol. Brings me joy knowing they bring YOU joy!
OMG I may have squee’d a bit at this one! That is soooo cute!
I’m happy I could squeeze a little squee out of ya, Loki-Lou! Glad you liked it!

Up and at em Zombie Bird!
Atten-hut! Reporting for duty, sir!
Reminds me of Snoopy and Woodstock. Love it.
That’s quite a compliment, Tom, thanks! I guess when you have a big dog with a little bird, there’s no getting around it, lol.
The bird is a pumpkinette.
Same great taste, less filling.
Now Gorr’s got a Mini-Me
I don’t think the world is prepared for another Gorr!
It would definitely bring about more chaos & turmoil
I thought that was Barry and Cedric’s job…
Mark I’m sure they’d accept Gorr’s help as a chaos & turmoil subcontractor
Chaos, Incorporated.
That first panel is great (so are the other) Another wonderful job.
Thanks, Francesca! I’m glad you like it!
Aww! Gorr, ZB and pumpkins! Epic! ๐

Happy Halloween Week Mark!
Same to you, Gruhn!
