On the floor laughing. You captured dogdom everywhere. Given a pile of comfortable leaves any canine worth his salt will roll over on his back and take a nice nap.
I’m glad you like it J.P. Animals seem to garner all the attention in comic strips, don’t they? Hmmm,,,Bug Pudding is all animals, you sly devil you’re on to something!
This is so funny. This is why he needs to move his leave pile closer to where the kids are, and choose a later time of day cause with his attention span and the warmth of those leaves I have a feelin’ the scares in his head are the only ones he’s ever been able to commit.
I’m honored that you would compare my strips with Schulz. Some of my earliest drawings were made copying Snoopy as a matter of fact. I guess some spill-over is inevitable. I’m glad you enjoy them, Jenn!
Thanks, that’s a heady compliment, indeed. I never really was a C&H fan, although I always liked Watterson’s art, but I think we’ve all got a bit of Schulz in our work, it’s unavoidable.

Busted! 🙂
Sleeping on the job!
Haha! Waiting is hard work 😀
For leaf bandits, the waiting is the hardest part!
Truly the best reason to have a pile of leaves.
That and leaf pile diving! Thanks for stopping by and commenting, Brian. Your site looks interesting. I’m going to have to check it out further…
Ah, the best laid plans can always be trumped by a good nap.
The best laid plans of drowsy dogs and men go oft awry.
Gorr and I have something in common. Big plans but easily distracted by sleeping.
Another great cartoon Mark 🙂
To sleep, perchance to dream of leaf banditry. Ay, there’s the rub! Thanks for your kind comment, Becky!

Love the last panel. Laugh out loud funny! Ha
Thanks, Tim. I’m glad you liked it!
Even predators need to sleep sometime!
Sleeping with your eyes open is a real challenge!
…especially when leaves keep poking them.
Obviously the Leaf Bandit has to be well rested when the prey shows up!
Maybe he’s having a rousing bandit adventure in his dreams.
Another great Leaf Bandit adventure! Love the snrk? sound in the last panel 🙂
I make that exact sound when I first wake up, too, lol. Thanks Marieke for you nice comment.

But you’re talking about a carefully calculated plan of action. This is Gorr we’re talking about, lol!
A successful leaf bandit needs patience, stealth & the ability to stay awake.
I bet it’s cozy under all those leaves. Who wouldn’t fall asleep?
Hahaha! AWESOME!
I’m happy you like it, Aaron!
Silent and deadly… THAT I believe! [grin]
Silent (except for the snoring), and deadly (maybe to a chew toy).
Are we talking about the dog or Jynks?
The Leaf Bandit needs a spin-off.
I’m glad you like the Leaf Bandit James. Maybe one day….
Leaf Bandit needs some discipline training or he’ll starve to death!
His goal is to pounce and scare, but I guess it was a quiet day in the park..
The tongue hanging out is a nice tough. The life of a dog. Good times for Gorr.
It’s hard to stay mad at a face like that!
I tend to fall asleep while sneaking up on others myself. I don’t know why that is. Very true-to-life strip today, Mark. 🙂
The closest I come is playing hide and seek in the house with my dog, but he always manages to find me…
Mark this is so reminiscent of the classic Charlie Brown comics, I love it!!

I don’t blame him for sleeping. It’s cozy in those leaves.
And they smell good, too.
It’s somewhere between Snoopy and Hobbes style. I love it!

Hahaha! SO cute I want to rub his belly! :O)
He’d really love that, Joseph!
