In case you don’t know, Beatrice has the power of psychometry, meaning she is able to “read” objects by touching them. Check out this strip.

Read ’em and weep, Beatrice!
She should’ve known when to fold up.
I love how you designed Audra. I get such a kick out of her super shoulder pads! And great job on Beatrice’s expression in the second panel. 😀
I thought the shoulder pads fit her puffy, pink view of life! I was happy with how B.’s face came out in that panel, she’s so much fun to draw when she’s mad!
Ha! I never knew that! I would have thought I would run across that by now, but, alas, I have not. Thanks for the paranormal lesson. 🙂
I never knew there was a term for it, either, but I wanted to seem like I knew what I was talking about so I looked it up.
Now that’s a head case.
Maybe she should wear gloves.
Fierce
She’s in a scrappy mood.
That is hilarious! 🙂
It’s a touchy subject! Thanks, Carlo!
Her bed-wetting habit is no longer a secret!
Oh, if only she would have held that pen longer!
She’s got the power!!
The power of the pen!
Hey, that sounds like a very neat power. 🙂
Be careful what you pick up, though!
I’m hiding all my stuff!
That’s a good idea!
I think of a whole lot of other things I wouldn’t hand her!
That’s a very touching sentiment, Chris!
Wow! What a cool power to have! I think I would avoid Beatrice for fear of being embarrassed!
She avoids shaking hands for a very good reason.
This comic taught me a new word. I will now attempt to squeeze it into all of my everyday conversations. Thanks Mark!
That would make Joseph Rodes Buchanan proud. He invented the word “psychometry†in 1842, when he came up with the idea that thoughts, actions, and events leave impressions on objects, that be accessed by someone with psychometric abilities.
I’d go farther and say never let a psychometrist near ANY of your stuff. What an invasive skill. Also, never keep a diary. Maybe I’m just paranoid.
Beatrice sometimes wears rubber gloves so it’s minimally invasive.
Pens are never good at keeping secrets
They just can’t keep their cap closed!
They always go too far & never know when to draw a line
Actually I think I got it wrong & the saying is Where to draw the line
I do a magic trick where I claim to have Psychomemetry. (Spoiler. I don’t). It would be quite useful!
What a high caliber group of friends I have! That’s really cool! Would love to see that act.
What would your pen say about you Mark?
My pen and I have signed a non-disclosure agreement.
She’s reading that loud and clear…
She’s got things well in hand.
A psychometrist, like an eavesdropper, may learn what others truly think of them… Nice one, Mark!
She gets it right from the source, too! Thanks, Jande!
