Where I lived, there were not many trees. We couldn’t get enough leaves to jump into, but I still had to rake them. Even with that said, this is great fall fun!
The ultimate Fall theme! I honestly don’t know how you rake a big pile of leaves without jumping in them and ruining your hard work. That’s why I’m not asked to rake leaves.
Thanks, Spencey! That’s a fine compliment coming from a man who creates some brilliant color, himself! I really enjoyed your interview on Daniel Barton’s Webcomic Show!
I’m experimenting with some new brushes I bought, going for splotchy, mottled leaf look. Thanks for all your nice comments, Christian! I’m happy you like what I’m doing!
WooHoo! The search for the Leaf Bandit becomes a leaf for all backyard bash! :OD
Nothing like diving into a mountain of leaves!

You are a noble leaf warrior, Julian, even if the terrain wasn’t working for you! Thanks so much for the fine comment, pal!
Fun & leaf piles just compliment each other perfectly
The taller the leaf pile, the bigger the fun!
That’s just pure joy! I’m going to print it out and put that on the front of my refrigerator at home.
That’s about one of the best compliments I’ve ever gotten for any of my cartoons, J.P.! You just made my fall! Thanks so much, my friend!
Gorr could’ve done that by himself.
From Leaf Bandit to Leaf One Dog Army!
I really like the way this is laid-out.
Thanks, P.J.! I was going for an organized chaos look!
Leaf partay!!! Yeah!!
Rake it and they will come!
Just awesome.
It feels awesome, too! Thanks, Kevin!

All that hard work is worth it, though. The joy is not in raking, it’s in the diving in!
I like all the different styles of leaves you made!
Glad you like ’em, Mat. It makes it more fun to draw!
Friends that play together, stay together!
I think they all need to do this again in 40 years!
Looks like the freeze frame at the end of a movie. Roll credits!
No cartoon characters were harmed during the production of this strip.
And we’re raking a stairway to heaven.
The forests will echo with laughter.
And they can keep the fun going by raking all the leaves back into a pile again when they’re done! 🙂
It’s cyclic, like the fall!
When I was a kid we had a ditch we used to rake all the leaves into and jump in…it was awesome fun!
Dang, why did me and my friends think of that? That would have been a lot easier!!
Lost in the leaves!
And they’ll probably do it again, too!
What a brilliant page. Makes me feel decidedly autumnal!

I really dig your recent textural autumn coloring. The leaves in this one is particularly well done.

Very pretty page, Mark. -v
Coming from a master of a pretty page, I truly appreciate that, Vince!
