Big Thanks to All for My Harvey Award Nomination!
Well, the 2016 Harvey Awards have come and gone, and let me tell you it was an unforgettable experience! Sitting in that big room, rubbing elbows with some of the big names in the biz, I had a slight feeling of unreality. Although I didn’t win for “Best Online Comics Work” this year, it is an event that I will never forget in my lifetime. It’s a blessing that I was able to participate at all, and I’ve been told that it is a Herculean task to even become nominated! It gave me a sense of pride to know that I was the one dark horse in the room, lol.
I want to thank each and every one of you comic pros who nominated and voted for me. Without your help, my nomination and participation in this year’s Harvey Awards would not have been possible. Thanks so much all of you!

Sorry, Mark. I really would have liked to have seen you win. I have thought for quite some time that you are in the top echelon of comics creators.
Denny, coming from such a talent as yourself that means so much! I am inspired by all the creators that I wished I could draw like when I was struggling to find my voice, and I plowed along until I started making that pencil and brush sort of do what I wanted them to, lol. I remember throwing my brush against the wall several times in frustration, early on. One thing I can say is that I’ve persevered, and I’m still having fun drawing! I do appreciate your very kind words!
