I appreciate you noticing them, Bill. It took me a while to figure out how to interpret all his anger towards Claustria, because I didn’t want to go too grim. You don’t think her head in formaldehyde was too much, do you?
I had worse images in there originally, (including a guillotine scenario) but took some of them out because it thought they might have been a bit too much. So happy you liked it, Rich! Congrats on your recent Ghastly Award!
It took a lot for me to draw it, Tony. I really wanted to show ZB destroying Claustria in so many dastardly ways, but I edited most of them out. Her head in chemicals was the only one I left in.
Masterly! From the thunderous, delightfully murderous speech balloon to ZB’s tail going rigid and sharply pointed, to the facial expressions, and finally the perfect punchline! Just masterly! <3
If you haven't already sold this one, may I please purchase the original? O.O <—puppy-dog eyes…
You sure do notice all those little details, Jande! That pointed tail on the last figure was to express the total strain it took for him to utter that word, I’m glad you spotted that! Sure, the original is available. Just email via the website and we’ll work it out. I’m happy to hear from you! I hope you’ll come around more often, Jande!
A for effort. F for the words he’d rather say. Love that wordballoon!
A picture is worth a thousand curses!
Those cursing images are hysterical and I almost overlooked them!
Anyone who didn’t look at them, go back and have a look. 😉

Not at all! It’s not like you showed her head being cut off. I don’t need to know how the sausage is made, I just want to eat it! 😀
See? That wasn’t so hard.
I think it took a couple of years off his unlife.
Begging never looked so good (love the art)!
Thanks, David! That may be the last time ZB ever tries that again!
Saying please is somewhere between a root canal and a prostate exam. Thank you always seems easier 🙂
Manners can be torture for some people!
Amazing visual Mark!
Thanks, Gruhn! Took awhile to visualize.
Boy, I’d hate to see him go through an “I’m sorry”…!!
There’s just not enough space in one of my dailies to cover that one, Ben!
And that’s the Cliffs notes version!
I didn’t want to draw the War and Peace version, so the Cliff notes version works for me!
Nothing like a subliminal voodoo doll to get what’cha want.
Everyone could use a subliminal voodoo doll now and then!
Poor Guy Looks like he just went thru a war!
Yes, a war with himself!
When all else fails… Manners
The only manners Zombie Boy knows are ill manners!
The hardest word of all.
And only six letters!
The anger involved in his saying please is beautifully illustrated. Very convincing.
Resentment is a tough thing to draw! Thanks, Bret!
GREAT job on that first panel Mark! Love all the little images of Claustria!

I love his thought process Mark. It took a lot of build up for him to get the P word out.
