The Leaf Road Less Traveled
I spotted this leaf on a walk and it inspired this strip. I imagined how a bug would experience a twisted dried up leaf like this one. There’s no way to ever get tired of fall leaves, every new one seems to be more interesting that the last one!
Look familiar? It inspired this strip!
That Leaf Bandit is going down…..someday…. 😉
They ain’t your garden variety band of Bandit hunters!
There’s a point where a defense perimeter becomes a roller Coster!
Haw, defense perimeter! Thanks for noticing all the little details that I hadn’t noticed, Michael!
Had it rained, those leaves would have been a slip n slide! [smirk]
Never say never, Jynksie!
Ever feel like you’re walking in circles?
Yes I have, but at least the circles were horizontal!
Ben-Hur meets The Neverending Story!
Very creative and so much fun to look at and think about, Mark! You inspired me to do something similar but different for WM!
Glad I could inspire you, Joseph! It will be interesting to see what you come up with! Color is the icing on the cake, and you can’t go wrong with all the vibrant hues of autumn!
The great leaf maze loop-de-loop!
The beginning is the end of the beginning of the end!
There’s going to be some fall-out here at some point.
Truer words were never raked, Gruhn!
You’re getting warmer!
That Bandit can be so elusive!
I believe I mentioned before how much im enjoying these Autumn colors and the the Gorr spotlight. However, I just noticed today your amazing new ZB Header!
As ive said in the past, this kind of attention to detail is EXACTLY why I keep coming back.
Your passion for your product is very evident. Keep up the AMAZING job, Mark.
I like to make all the elements on my home page work together. This header is actually from last year’s fall strips, but I felt it wouldn’t hurt to bring it around again for this storyline. Thanks for your inspiring words, Joseph, it’s nice to know that all the effort is appreciated!
They’re on the right trail! Or at least it looks like it.
It they’re not careful, they’ll be right back where they started.
That looks like an exciting path, and possibly the right one.
That path has some dangerous curves!
Like a bug roller coaster
Even bugs like thrill rides!
Whenever I walk through my neighborhood, I always look down at the sidewalk. It’s interesting what catches your eye and what does not. 🙂
Yes, Bill, especially in the fall. Lots of colorful little treasures laying around for a limited time only.
WOW! That’s one crazy leaf maze! I hope they don’t get too lost!
Give ’em a day, they’ll probably find their way out!
