*Stage-whispers* Happy birthday!
This isn’t much of a “present”, but I have unicorn-ified ZombieBoy and a couple of others in random late-night fanart.
Haha, Hannah! Love it! Thanks so much for the wonderful art! I’m going to have to make a special post about this and Sparkles, too! Oh, and…(under breath: thanks!)
I committed murder…a murder of crows! This will be the last time I include a cast of thousands in a strip, I’ll tell you that! Damn my hand gets tired drawing all those little black feathers!
Well I’m disappointed Mark. Brian ‘s comment gave me hope. I went to the “Cast” page & not a single bird… I wanted to know names so I could better relate to the storyline. It’s a lot harder to remember who’s who by utilizing bird#1, bird#2, bird#3 etc 😛
Ack, Tony! It’s best not to individualize them and just draw them as blobs of black (with wings). Putting names on them would put me in the booby hatch!
You’re never really alone when you’ve got a good book at your side…and, of course, a horde of carrion birds.
I’d rather have the book, lol! You can bet with a zombie around, they’re constantly circling overhead…

You’ve probably never wondered what ZB would look like as a unicorn…but now you’ll never have to.

Ha Ha I thought he would appreciate the company. Boy this comic site has really gone to the birds 😛

So, I’m guessing here, you have a character sheet for each bird, right? 😉 I’m expecting a “flipping of the bird” frame any moment now.
A bird flipping a bird would be pretty funny! No character sheets, I’m just wingin’ it….

“Sometimes I feel so alone…HINT! HINT!”
Says the old sod in polyester to the last lady at the bar.
Happy Birthday Mark! I got you this comment. I hope you like it.
All wrapped up in pretty quotations and everything! Thanks, Will!
I’m going to wait til your actual birthday and buy you lunch or sumfin’. See if I don’t.
Shhh! You’re not supposed to tell me it’s my birthday. It’s a secret!
I’m the type of guy who feels alone in a crowd too. I’m such a wallflower at parties too.
Hey, have a great birthday celebration tomorrow, Mark. I hope you have loads of zombie fun! 🙂
George, you may be a wallflower at parties, but you’re a mighty oak online! Thanks for the kind b-day wishes!
GO BLOW…..a candle on a cake. Happy birthday.
Thanks, Bearman. I’m afraid to blow too hard, all those candles might set off the sprinkler system!
You’re never so alone as when you’re with a flock of bird brains.
(Oh, and happy secret birthday!)
Thanks Binky. And between you and me, (I’m having chocolate cake!)
Oooooh!!! It’s your birthday? Time to partaaaaaaay~~~ 😉
Lol, Alecho! You said it so well, I can’t come up with a snappy retort!
I’ll be wearing my birthday suit to work tomorrow in celebration of your birthday. Better they suffer from the visual, than you! [smirk]
I can’t think of a better tribute, Jynksie. No need to post a photo, though…. really.
Happy birthday! 🙂 Save a slice of cake for me!
Thanks Spencey! I’ll definitely do that! How is little Elwood? Can’t wait for December for more Girls in Space!
A nice ironic take on the idea of being alone. Are we ever ‘really’ alone?
No, I don’t think we are ever truly alone. I mean there’s always that inner critic. He never respects our personal space!
I don’t like the way that bird is looking at that skull earring. It makes me feel uneasy.
Heh, I guess that was one of those unhappy accidents, I only just now noticed it.
You should get a cat 😀
A black cat!
A Zombie Cat!
Get back, Zombie Cat!
a happy belated birthday!!
Thanks so much, Jenn. It really means a lot!
