Silence is Platinum
Sadie and her big voice are back in today’s strip. I love Sadie, but she can’t just appear in any old strip because of her loud personality. I came across this passage by T. Dewitt Talmage quite by accident, and immediately I thought of Sadie, the loudest girl in town. She and Beatrice have had other library incidents, you can check one out here. What do you guys think about her?

There’s always a Sadie around somewhere, especially in places where you’re supposed to keep your voice down! She’s based on a real person, I talk about it here.
Sadie reminds me of my brother. He also has a loud booming voice! Hehe Awesome strip 😀

It’s funny what can inspire us. Wasn’t even looking for that quote, but there it was, with the joke tucked inside it like a Crackerjack box.
This Sadie character is awesome! And hilarious! Reminds me of Banshee or Black Bolt from Marvel comics.
