Thanks, Wouter! This was my attempt at splicing several strips together into one panel. This sequence has a bit of the Great and Powerful Oz Syndrome (objects in ice panels may appear larger than they are).
I’m visualizing that scene from “The Wizard of Oz” after their encounter with the Wizard, when a frightened Cowardly Lion tears down that long hall and jumps out of the window!
I tried to imply some of that, I figured babies would love a reflection room. If this was a daily strip, I’d be all over that ice palace like white on ice. There is a lot more I would show but three times a week limits me to how much I can ramble.
Thanks Mark. Hard work I’m sure made harder when formatting the adventure into gag strips. I couldn’t do it but you’re pulling it off with flying colors!
Your format is different than mine, but it works both ways. Sometimes it’s hard to try to fill out a story when you’re only working in a limited amount of panels. Trying to add a little comedy beat to each strip really is a challenge, I have to admit.
Thanks for noticing, Gruhn. If I just stuck with talking heads it would all go so much easier. I just can’t help myself! I have to make it interesting for me to do, even if I torture myself with all the detail.
This really looks to be a fun place! Oh, wait these guys don’t look as friendly as the whole troop that left a couple of weeks ago!
Great multi-sequenced single panel, Mark!

I really like Gorr’s reflections
Handsome little devil, isn’t he?
They must not like “Cold Play.” 😉
No time for that now!
Playtime’s over… i guess.
Somebody threw ice water on the parade!
what happened. what did i miss?
Ice reflections make a baby snow monster look like a giant.
Fun house mirror, on a grand scale!
Not so fun this time!
Awe, don’t run! Snow baby isn’t sure why you are running.
He’s probably more frightened than they are!
Time to get the Hall out of there!

Funny you said that. I was thinking when they were first entering, that those huge doors reminded me of the front doors to the Emerald City. 😉
It’s my all time favorite film, so I’m sure some of that came through in this story. Funny how that happens, hunh?
Great comic, Mark! It’s fun to imagine what went on in there!

As is normal for ice things it may be beginning to melt.
Funny you should say that…
Great idea and execution! Loving exploring this place Mark!
Thanks, Mat. One of the things I like about Evan Yeti is all your other-worldly scenarios. It’s hard work!

Mirrored madness!
Twice the insanity!
The little ice man meant no harm. I think!
And what an icy reception he got, too!
Someone needs to turn those ice goblins frown, upside down! [flippo]
For some people, a frown is a defense mechanism…. 🙁 Try turning your monitor upside down…
I was waiting……… That is some Great intricate drawing!

The many faceted angles in this playroom is a reflection of your amazing comicking powers, Mark. I love it! :O)
Reminds me of when I had Chicken Pox. The mirror was scary.
A Frightened Gorr just melts my heart.
That room doesn’t play (although it looks like it could be loads of fun. 🙂
