No beach would be complete without a few sandpipers! Once again, I was thinking of Marty and the gang when I was drawing that first panel, just couldn’t help it!
I work with a guy like that. I love ’em to death, but he has a history of being a public-speaker so he’s constantly projecting his voice throughout the universe. Sometimes I just like to sit in my office and listen to him no the phone while he thinks he’s being quiet and subtle. ๐
Boomers in the workplace sure make things unproductive. It’s hard to concentrate with someone yelling near you. The funny thing is, they are the last ones to know how disruptive they are!
Ah, the loud talker. We have one of those at work. Frightful!
Heaven forbid you should be in the next cube! Misery!
There’s more than one kind of pollution the ocean can do without! ๐
Aural polution, it’s a serious matter!
Ah, it’s every human ever.
Meddlesome humans! Always ruining everything, lol!
Poor Sadie, she still doesn’t get it yet. She is not even troubled by the animals leaving either.
Mass exoduses don’t faze Sadie in the least. She’s used to it!
I have a very similar problem as Sadie. It makes whispering sweet nothings a pain in the butt.
I imagine those sweet nothings are shared by all!
That Turtle hauled ass. No wonder that he can beat a Hare. Nice Sandpipers too.

The Gull Gang was my 1st thought when I read it too.
I guess it depends on who/what goes floating by?! [gurgle]
And how many jellyfish are hanging around!
I would like someone to go to the beach with that scares away all the pooping birds
I guess that’s one good way of looking at it!
I just want one scaring away the teenagers.
Teenagers and malls. Can they ever be separated?
And now it’s deserted! ๐
It will stay that way as long as Sadie keeps talking!
The terrible end of tranquility. So sad. Love the way you showed the critters startlement!. :`D
Did you notice that even the waves ran away? Glad you liked the “startlement” (love that word), Jande!
Wow! She managed to annoy the sea-gulls! That’s an achievement!
Having spent a lot of time on the beach, I almost certainly have to agree with you, Jerry!
One way to clear out a beach! ๐
Who needs all the locals hanging around, anyway?
I love when kids shush people… And the shushes are louder than the noise!
Shushes are like a human version of a megaphone.
Almost expected to see all of the ocean life go running for the hills…or is that Wednesday’s strip?
I’m sure at least a couple of those crabs left their shells behind.
That voice would work well at a sporting event. ๐
They don’t let Sadie in to too many of those, the announcer can’t stand the competition.
Sadie makes every place peacefull. ๐
As long as she keeps her mouth shut after she gets there!
I’m surprised the sand doesn’t make a run for it! And maybe the ocean.
If you notice, she even scared the waves away!
There’s some serious beach critter traffic going on there. Nice yelling, even scare the fish outta the water.
They should be glad Sadie only comes to the beach every once in a while.
Maybe Sadie could come to my house about once a week & yell at the lawn to scare all the grass blades back into the ground so I won’t have to mow.
She wouldn’t even have to yell. She just could use her outside voice.
Well at least they don’t have to worry about those dirty animals, now.
You’ll have to take that up with the animals. I’m sure there will be some hard feelings.
It is a good way to clear a spot on the beach, so long as you have ear plugs ๐
Sadie-canceling ear plugs, at that!
And if it was on a library, it’d scare the words out of the books. Very good. 8)
Or at least the books off the shelves: click here.
haha Mark this is awesome use of typography in an illustrative form!
I had no choice. Sadie always fills up all her panels with loud chatter! Thanks, Jenn!

Why use the indoor voice outdoors? Plus, there’s pretty much a moral obligation to poke all of those animals, so they were smart to flee the scene.
Sadie’s voice also annoys on frequencies that only animals can hear.
