Oh Zombie Boy… I feel your feathered pain! For I to am in perpetual “No” and “Drop That” mode, as my puppy finds everything in my lawn I didnt even know was there. #TrueStory
Very recognizable scene. My dog does this too, although sometimes it’s the other way around when she’s teased by some local crows hanging out in the park!
There’s a little old lady who walks two enormous Great Danes around my neighborhood, she looks like a jockey with two horses! If they ever went after a squirrel, it could be disasterous!
He sure scaled that pole with ease & his balance is perfect. Like the shoes on the wire, nice touch. That’s a sight I regularly see around here. The shoes that is, not a dog on the wires.
Haha, Gorr is walking a fine line!
Yes, he is. A fine line 15 feet above the street!
Reminds me of taking my pug for a walk.
Ahh, another artist with a pug in their life! I don’t exaggerate, do I?
The bird should just stay still. 🙂
There’s no fun if they don’t panic!
He should watch himself, he might run into some angry birds.
I think Gorr could handle Angry Birds!
Gorr really ruffled ZB’s feathers!
And his purple suit!
The hanging tennis shoes are classic.
What is a neighborhood telephone line without a pair of tennis shoes?
Somehow I am thinking electrocution or a wire snap is in the future.
Thank gosh Zombie Boy is dead already!
Gorr should join the circus. Look at those high wire skills!
Relentlessly pursue birds first, realize where you are second.
Gulls can’t even land on a wire. Hmmm, maybe that’s a good thing. Gotta keep that Gorr away.
I should have put a gull in there, actually, those birds are everywhere!
Those birds should thank Gorr for chasing them. He provides exitement and exercise 🙂
Gorr would be a good bird personal trainer!
Gorr just wanted a bird’s eye view!
And he sure is getting one up there!
It wasn’t a total loss. Look! Shoes for Zombie Boy!
I think they’re gonna be about as much use hanging from that wire as on ZB’s feet!
The thing that cracks me up about this strip the most are the hanging shoes. The decor of many neighborhood telephone wires around the nation.
No telephone wire is complete without at least one pair!
Oh Zombie Boy… I feel your feathered pain! For I to am in perpetual “No” and “Drop That” mode, as my puppy finds everything in my lawn I didnt even know was there. #TrueStory
One of the joys of puppy fatherhood! Then they want to lick your face!
I was thinking that it was a good thing that he couldn’t fly, but apparently that’s not an obstacle to him. 😀
Where there’s a devil’s tail, there’s a way!
I’m sensing an Angry Birds spin off! My dog likes to chase squirrels in the same way!
You might like this cartoon, then.
Haha! That’s exactly what he’s like. Brilliant as always Mark!
I figured you might like that one, Gary, lol! Say, you should draw some of that up in your strip. I bet your fans would love it!
New motivational poster about ‘just hanging in there’ without those rotten kittens! I like it!
I never thought about it like that, but you’re right, lol!
Very recognizable scene. My dog does this too, although sometimes it’s the other way around when she’s teased by some local crows hanging out in the park!
Crows can be relentless thugs! Thanks for sharing and commenting, Jorine!
Nice perspective shot in panel 2. I love the lack of borders in 1 & 3. Let’s the art “breathe.”
Borders are great, but sometimes you gotta open it up a bit. I’m glad you like it, David, thanks for the nice words!
Gorr better watch which side of his mouth he hangs is tongue out. One wrong move and he might lose his balance!
Yeah, the position of that tongue makes all the difference! Haha, great, Dave!
That’s a circus act I’d pay to see!
Get some birds, a circus ring and a high wire and I’ll bring Gorr!
Ah, delightful as usual, Mark! I, too love the shoes. :`D
But what I’m wondering is how ZB manages to get a leash on that DeviDog!? (not that it does him much good it seems) <3
The shoes seem to have hit a chord. I’m happy you like the strip, Jande. As for the leash, they have to keep up appearances!
I used to have a dog that would do this same thing. It was especially funny to let him pull my little brother down the street.
There’s a little old lady who walks two enormous Great Danes around my neighborhood, she looks like a jockey with two horses! If they ever went after a squirrel, it could be disasterous!
You’ll have to let me know when it happens.
It would be like a scene out of Ben Hur!
Seems like every other walk with Gorr ends up a terrifying prospect!!
Best thing to do is never use the leash!
Well at least he could grab that pair of shoes.
As long as he doesn’t let go of the leash!
Gorr’s an acrobat!
Game hunter out of instinct, acrobat out of necessity.
He sure scaled that pole with ease & his balance is perfect. Like the shoes on the wire, nice touch. That’s a sight I regularly see around here. The shoes that is, not a dog on the wires.
Shoes dangling from the wire is a sign that you’re in a classy neighborhood!
Why stop Gorr? You’re right there!!
Things I hadn’t thought about… How horrible it’d be to take dogs on a walk if they could climb….
It’s no fun if the birds aren’t panicking!
