I remember a Hannah Barbera cartoon named Winsome Witch, that this for some reason reminds me of. She was always riding around on her broom http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3y2Cg3Pvbw
That’s an animation technique to make the foreground figures stand out. I made all the trees line up so they wouldn’t be too distracting, and softened their fill and outlines, too. We can all learn something from other artists, I’m always looking for inspiration – I know you are, too!
Single panel strips are fun, but I find they usually take as much effort as panels. I’m glad you like the background, it took me some experimenting to find the right color.
A perfect way to clean up and have fun at the same time!
Business with pleasure!
This comic makes me jumpy. In a good way! 🙂
I’m getting a craving to hop on a pogo stick, myself!
That’s brilliant fun! Love it!
Thanks so much, Paul, I’m glad you like it!
Hop hop hop on a mop!
Broom, broom, broom go zoom!

Solstice could learn a few things from that lady!
Finally! A pogo stick that doesn’t squeak!
I really like the background in this one.
You can never sneak up on someone on a pogo stick, that’s for sure! Glad you liked it, Bill!
Remember Pogo-Ball?
I never saw one in real life, only on TV. Did you have one?
I wanna do is zig-a-zig zoom on my broom broom!
Sounds like the makings of a really fun children’s book, Michael!
If that’s a race, she’s going to sweep them out of the way to the finish line!
Another nice one, Mark! I like that you faded the background so it would compete less with the characters. <3
Your work is like a school for new cartoonists. I hope they pay attention. :`D

I tried using a pogo stick once. I’ve been walking funny ever since! [grin]
I thought that spring in your step was natural, Jynksie!
Sweepin up all the action. 🙂
She’ll leave em’ in the dust!
She’s got the coolest ride!
A broom with a view!
Best pogo-stick ever.
Solstice likes to think so, too!
I want one of those brooms!
I’m sure Solstice would be glad to share it, Binky!
Can she push that broom around my house too
I bet she’d be happy to, Bearman!
It’s nice to see the wide open panels every so often. Love the background!
