Zombie Boy by Vince Dorse
on February 28, 2013
Vince Dorse is the very capable and talented creator/writer/artist of Untold Tales of Bigfoot, which has aptly been described as “an engaging ongoing story ‘for grown-ups and kids’ about a lost dog and the lonely Yeti who becomes his friend.”Vince and I exchanged fan art, the above piece was his rendition of the Ju-Juvenile, Gorr and even Judas the cat. What a great piece of work, eh?

Vince’s webcomic recently made Slate‘s short list of ten webcomics chosen for the Cartoonist Studio Prize for Best Webcomic of 2012! The winners will be announced March 1, 2013 so wish him luck!
Vince is also an award-winning illustrator, and you can see his work at his official site here.

That is one helluva piece of fan art!
Thanks, Tim. I was going for slightly creepy. -v
That is one creepy ass zombie boy…. I love it!
The whole concept of Zombie Boy always struck me as creepy, so I just went with my guy. Thanks! -v
This is beautiful! You and Vince both know how to bring your A games to the table, Marc.
Appreciate that, George. I couldn’t ask for more fun characters to draw than Vince’s Bigfoot and Scout!
Man, George, Mark’s Bigfoot & Scout piece is so much fun I can’t stop looking at it. Just wonderful stuff. -v
Awesome artwork!
Thanks, Daniel! Was going for a very simple look without too much detail. I think the color helps a lot.
Mark says he was going for something simple, and maybe that’s true, but his final Bigfoot and Scout piece is just a feast for the eyes. His colors are amazing. -v
I love everything about this. His style has made it all look so sinister. lol
Thanks, Jande. Anything I can do to actually make Zombie Boy even more sinister than he already is I’ll consider a win. -v
Hey, that’s a great take on Zombie Boy. I think I see some Jeff Smith influence here.
Hey thanks, Denny. That’s a high compliment. -v
Fantastic fan art, both of ya’s!
Thanks, Jim, I’m glad you liked them! Means a lot coming from you!
