I took that George Bernard Shaw quote: “Youth is wasted on the young” and tweaked it a little for this strip. I think it gives a good idea of Zombie Boy’s philosophy about so-called life.
Yup, so much cooler and exciting to be undead
Live fast, die young and BE a good-looking corpse.
The living just don’t know how to have fun till they die.
Dead people have ALL the fun.
But if the undead had too much life, maybe they wouldn’t be undead anymore.
It’s not the life that counts, it’s how you use it!
OMG…this is my new favorite web comic.
Love the art btw.
I appreciate you saying that. Thanks for your visit and for taking time to comment. I’m glad you like it! Comments are always welcome!
Lol, love it! I wish I was a zombie…
Just starting through your archives after following your comment link from Legacy Control. Great stuff!
Welcome Brandon, thanks for stopping by. I’m glad you like my strip! I checked out your site: TWXXD, funny stuff, love the photo-collage strips. Javis’ work Legacy Control is awesome too, isn’t it? Comments are always welcome and appreciated!
nice strip, you have great sense of comedy timing.
Thanks Don. I appreciate you coming by and commenting!
Ok. Here we go. I’m starting with the first comic.
Welcome to my archive, Daniel.
Great strip. Brilliant art and funny pay off.
The whole package!
Appreciate that, ROLFE. Especially coming from a man who knows a thing or two about all of the above!
I’ve never clicked the Go to the start << arrow before. I should do that at every comic I visit.
With all those daring thrill sports around I guess that's why the dead are dead.
That’s one way to get there fast!
Sometimes it’s good to go back and see where some webcomics started. It can be really interesting!
Wow. This is where it all began online. I love seeing artist’s earlier work. It’s fun to see how they’ve improved and grown.
Zombie boy of the past looks prehistoric while today’s Zombie Boy has a modern, sophisticated look. Maybe Zombie Boy of the future will have rather large alien eyes!
Also, your artwork looks real Pro, Mark. You’re a great artist and a very witty writer! I love your puns! :O)
Yeah, it’s always fun to look back on artist’s work and see it evolve. On Zombie Boy’s second anniversary I posted the earliest version of his design next to the latest, and I was surprised at how much he had changed! Just wait, you’ll see what I’m talking about. In another year, you’ll look back and be surprised. It’s because when you steady draw the same character over and over again, it has to change. It’s a living creation!
Thanks for all your wonderful words and very nice support, Joseph. Your work is exceptional and it’s an honor to have your friendship!
Aw, thanks, Mark. I enjoy our friendship too. Also, my monkeys are still evolving as I haven’t yet nailed their look yet. I know I’ll get there. I just have to put in the hours!
Just wait, Joseph. You’ll see it when you look back in a year or so.
