I never knew how a little mask around the eyes would make it so hard to recognize a hero! I’m enjoying getting back to Gorr strips, Alexander, it’s been a while since he took the stage.
I’m playing with some digital painting techniques, Matt, and having a lot of fun! It’s especially handy to help create fall foilage. I appreciate that such a great painter like you likes it.
Don’t fix what ain’t broke! 🙂
One leaf does not a Leaf Bandit make!
Gorr rawks! It’s a hit, Gorr, look, they’re uh, leaf-ing…going away…I got nuthin’.
The formidable power of the Yard Knight is greatly diminished without his element of surprise, Jack!
I should have come to you for advice on how to draw fall leaves.
It’s mostly calculated scribbles, P.J. Leaves really are a lot of fun to draw and color!
Its #Movember, he should have used the tride and true leafy mustache! [smirk] …those are always a good disguise!
Hmmmm, I wonder what Gorr would look like with a Van Dyke…
Do it! [smirkity]
But it works for Robin and Green Arrow!
Great page as always, Mark. Loving the Gorr spotlight.

Much like real life superheroes, masks don’t work!
Gorr found out the hard way, Michael!
You need to part your ears to the other side for a mask to work. 😉
He’s new at this whole mask thing, Bill.
I didn’t even recognize him!
I didn’t recognize him either, and I drew him!
Too bad the minimalist leaf bandit design is a bust… If it worked, the leaf bandit could strike any time there were two leaves around! 🙂
He’s as much of a Leaf Bandit on the inside as he is on the outside, Tom!
But it’s a great accessory. 😉
It goes really well with his fall outfit!
I’ll bet Gorr would settle for a treat to cheer him up!
Love the color blends in the background, btw !!
You got that right, Ben! I’m experimenting with different coloring techniques, Thanks for noticing, I’m glad you like it!
Yeah, that’s not gonna get the job done!
This is one time when less is not more!
More leaves, less Gorr!
In this instance I agree with you, Binky!
I hope those arent poison oak!
Me, too! I hate to think of what damage Gorr’s skin would do to it!
The fall of the Leaf Bandit.
He needs to go deeper undercover!
Love the colours & the painterly background in this one. Really cool Mark! Poor Gorr – back to the costume shop 🙂

The mystery of the mask. Bandito Incognito sounds like it could be a new Ricky Martin song
He could use a good hit these days.
