Daniel Elliott Draws Beatrice Stroud

Beatrice Stroud by Daniel Elliott

Visit The Superpower Union

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, then this yuletide treasure featuring Beatrice by the talented Daniel Elliott! Daniel is the creator/writer/illustrator of the quirky fun superhero webcomic, The Superpower Union, a strip I highly recommend! If you love high-flyin’, heavy-partying multi-versal heroes, fightin’ felines, nearly invulnerable big green alien junior Union members, nefarious Doctors and their enormous city-leveling Abominations, and good old, average Joe comic book-lovin’ superhero groupies, this is the strip for you!

What a wonderful Christmas gift! Be sure to visit Daniel’s site and follow him on Twitter (@superpowerunion). Thanks, Daniel!

The one and only, stupefyingly-talented Bearman has delivered a never-before-seen work of wonderment featuring the Ju-Juvenile, which we now present for your viewing pleasure. This establishment would like to take this opportunity to publicly thank the mysterious green-coiffed colossus of talent and temperment for his service to the cause of adolescent zombies the world over! Thanks, Bearman! To see more of Bearman’s prodigious pictorials, visit Beartoons.

Darrel Troxel and Thomas Clemmons, the two fine fellows behind the Art Zen podcast, selected me as their “Twitter’er of the Week”  (my Twitter handle: @krash_pow). If you’re interested in hearing the podcast, you can find it here. Art Zen is a great podcast about art, graphic design and the business of art. Darrel (@raydred) is an artist, illustrator, and graphic designer whose work can be found here. Thomas (@Thomas514) is a freelance graphic designer and the creator of the webcomic Robot Friday. Thanks, fellas!

Zombie Boy by Patrick Scullin

I received this wonderful hand-drawn sketchcard by Patrick Scullin in the mail today. Patrick is the creator of the Super Siblings, which he describes as an “all ages comic strip for geeks with kids.” The Super Siblings are 12 year old Conrad (Scout) and 10 year old Courtney (Banshee), two super-powered archenemies who happen to be brother and sister. They are the extraordinary offspring of James and Donna Clark, two ordinary parents. Originally conceived as an animated series, Patrick re-worked the concept into a print/online series which has now been online since 2008.

Thanks so much for this wonderful sketchcard art, Patrick!
